The DoorOne night, while I was sleeping, a thunder storm came. I woke with a start as the lightning flashed and the resulting thunder boomed across the sky. I looked around my room as my mind cleared. The room was small and the walls were white. In one corner was a small, black dresser. Across from it was the door. The head of my bed was on the same wall as the door and to my right was the only window. The rain poured outside, making it impossible to see anything through the window. I looked more closely at the door, it looked strange so I sat up to get a closer look. Rather than unpainted wood, it looked like it was made of some sort of dark grey stThe Door
